The Usage of ShenSha(神煞)

Although calculators discharge a lot of ShenSha(神煞) for us, most of them are useless. 

What is ShenSha?

In the red box of the picture below is Shensha.

There is no good explanation on the internet. If you don’t understand it, it doesn’t matter, because it’s not important.

It is similar to a kind of big data statistics in ancient times. According to the fact that something happened to most people one day, these symbols are summarized to form a ShenSha. In ancient times, material technology was not developed. So most ShenSha are one-sided. 

 

But three have three ShenSha are still useful. there are “驿马”、”桃花”、”日禄”.

 

驿马: called Yima (Travelling Horse), Sky Horse, Travel, Post Horse, Horse Star, Travelling Horse, Horseman

The Horse Star is the sign of safe and swift travel. In ancient time traveling out of the city safety is a big task. The journey can take year and there are many danger while traveling.
Today is much more easier and hence the explanation is more toward engagement in international trade or business.
If you see this star in your chart, you are meant to go places and do big thing. 

Meaning:

– frequent travel, migration
– possibly working abroad or far from home
– frequent changes of work, profession, place of residence
– star of movement, change, also adventures
– this star is often found among people who travel a lot for business: diplomats, military, businessmen, travelers
– this star weakens favorable stars accompanying it and aggravates unfavorable stars;
– the star acts fiercely (it is movement-related)
– the literal name means a horse rider: a traveling horse or postal horse was formerly a symbol of constant movement and travel, horse riders delivered mail to far corners of the world
– the star in luck pillars can mean travel or a change of job at a given time
– the star can bring money from travel-related work, or continuous changes and instability, depending on whether the star’s branch is beneficial or not.

桃花: called TaoHua, Peach Blossom, Peach Blossom by the Pool, Flower of Romance. It is always connect with love, marriage, attractive force, derailment, etc.

Meaning:

– this star usually belongs to an attractive person, who is appealing to the opposite sex
– romantic person, with a sense of beauty, looking for pleasure, with love for beauty
– having greater interest in relationships, including sexual relations
– the name of the star literally means “peach blossom”, which flourishes in spring and attracts insects with its smell, color and attractive appearance
– if the star branch is unfavorable, there may be difficulties in relationships, that may be caused by extramarital affairs, but of course, depending on the interpretation of the entire chart
– if the star’s branch is favorable, star brings successful relationships, finding the right partner

日禄: called RiLu, Thriving, HS Wealth, Prosperity, Fortune Star, Promotion.

Meaning:

– strong-willed person, confident
– proactive, energetic
– great observer
– for weak Day Master: promotions, financial successes, wealth, health; gradual progress in life without major difficulties
– for strong Day Master: being unconcerned, carefree, sloppy; lack of commitment
– if this star is on Empty Branch, it can bring financial difficulties, poverty; this may relate to birth chart or luck pillar (so only the given period of life)
– this star is associated with physical body, does not like to go into interactions such as triangular combinations or conflicts, which could bring health or financial difficulties
– the analysis of this star is quite complicated and depends on the chart structure
